With the growing popularity of fitness equipment and training routines, there’s now a huge market for a single workout routine to help people get their bodies moving and their workouts done.
But it can be challenging to keep a workout routine organized and on track.
Now, a new startup called Mirror Fitness has introduced a smart-home app to help.
The company, which is based in New York City, aims to help users keep track of all the equipment they use and how much time they spend doing it.
For example, users can track when they’re sleeping and when they’ve had a workout and what their body fat percentage is.
And it’s also a great way to stay motivated when you’re tired and have no energy to do your daily workout.
Mirror Fitness founder and CEO Matt Johnson says that the app can also help people avoid the temptation of running out the door to catch a train, which can cause them to lose time and energy.
For those who want to keep track, Mirror Fitness offers a few different ways to track workouts and workout times.
One of them is to add an interval or timer to your workout schedule.
You can set a time limit for your workout, and then the app will count down from the start of your workout.
You will see a countdown timer on the screen, and once the timer is up, you will see the amount of time you’ve spent doing your workout and how many hours you’ve left in the workout.
When the timer expires, the timer will go back to zero.
That will help you track your workouts more accurately, Johnson says.
Another way to track your activity is through an activity tracker.
You just set a workout date and time, and the app counts the number of steps you’ve taken and the calories burned.
This can be helpful if you want to track calories burned from a workout, or if you have a high threshold for what your body needs.
And Mirror Fitness also offers a way to view how many calories you’ve burned from all of your workouts.
Johnson says this is the way he wants to use the app.
“If I’m trying to lose weight, I’m probably going to need to do something that I really don’t want to do,” Johnson says in an interview with CNBC.
“It’s just going to be something that slows me down.”
Mirror Fitness isn’t just a workout tracker.
The startup also has a dedicated fitness app called BodyFitness that lets users track their workouts and their daily physical activity.
The app is free to download, and it’s the same as the one that comes with Mirror Fitness.
Johnson is hoping to make Mirror Fitness the standard in fitness tracking.
“I think we’re going to see a lot of other fitness apps coming out in the next five to 10 years,” Johnson said.
The apps will be able to provide people with an estimate of how many steps they’ve taken, the calories they’ve burned, how many minutes they’ve spent in a workout session and so on.
That information will then be shared with a company like Fitbit, which will then analyze the data to determine how much of the workout is focused on fitness and how little on weight loss.
Johnson hopes that Mirror Fitness will become the standard for fitness tracking in the near future.
“There’s going to come a time when it will become a standard, that people are going to want to use a tracking app and that’s the way we’re heading,” Johnson added.
But Johnson says he wants the platform to be useful for people who don’t have a lot to do with fitness equipment.
“The people who use the products and use the services and don’t do the physical activity tracking will be people who have the fitness apps or the fitness services that are being used by other people,” Johnson explained.
Johnson also says that he’s planning to make the app more user-friendly.
“People are going be able, in the future, to get an app that has a little more information on how many times they’ve gone through the workout,” Johnson told CNBC.
Johnson believes that the technology will make Mirror Fitters success even more impressive.
“We think that this will become one of the best fitness tracking apps out there,” Johnson concluded.
The founder also hopes that the platform will be a boon for people looking to lose some weight and also those who aren’t looking to shed any pounds.
“What we’re really excited about is that people who are in a weight loss or health and fitness mindset will be very excited by this,” Johnson noted.
