The world’s top five elite athletes, ranked by their peak fitness, are in Los Angeles this week for the Peak Fitness World Cup.
The top 10 athletes from the first two seasons of the World Cup will compete in a three-day competition.
The event began at the Staples Center on Sunday and runs through Wednesday.
The athletes will compete for $1 million in cash prizes.
The top three will be in the top 10 of the event.
They will compete on Thursday in a double elimination format with the top four remaining in the final.
The first two-time World Cup champion will earn $300,000 and the fourth-place finisher will earn an additional $100,000.
